This book is meant to guide you through the process of learning to let go. From letting go of expectations and standards that aren’t true to you to letting to of the physical possessions that weigh you down.
The process in The Art Of Letting Go is different from most downsizing challenges because the focus is on you. It’s not just about the stuff you are getting rid of. It’s about why you’re getting rid of it. There are no rules, just worksheets and chapters meant to assist in your process of becoming the best version of yourself.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This workbook is a step by step, beginning to end process of letting go of everything that is holding you back. Starting with yourself and ending with a clutter-free, organized home. Each step has been carefully chosen to open your mind and clear your space to set you up with the tools needed to create a life you love.
I know minimalism may not be for everyone, but I like to think this book is more than just a guide to becoming a minimalist. While there’s decluttering and letting go of physical items, the whole process was created with a focus on you and what you really want from life.
Chapter 1: Priorities
In the first chapter you will focus on you. What your day looks like, what you like about it, and what you don’t. You’ll work on letting go of any expectations you’ve put on yourself that just add stress to your life. At the end, you’ll have a clear set of priorities meant to help you create a life you love. One that makes you happy and excited to wake up each day.
You will be given worksheets and a quiz to guide you through this thought process. You can keep the worksheets on display to remind you why you’re here and what you’re working towards.
Chapter 2: The Stuff
In this chapter, you will focus on letting go of all of the things that hold you back. You’ll start small with the clutter that has simply built up over time. Then, you’ll start to dig a little deeper into the things that are easy to grow attached to. The things that can become a part of who we are and who we want to be. Finally, you’ll put your home back together. You’ll set yourself up for success with a well organized, decluttered home. One that is ready for the new you.
You will be given worksheets, checklists, and quizzes to help you stay on track while going through your things. Some are meant to guide you while others are meant to keep to stay organized in your storage areas.
Chapter 3: The New Now
In this chapter, you will have just one more list. A list created to help you dream big and think through to steps to take to continue creating a life you love. Then, it’s time to relax and give yourself a break for all the work you’ve done.
With this chapter, you will be given one final worksheet to help you walk through the step you need to take to make your life everything you want it to be.
WHAT YOU’LL GET
I have created two separate books. One full of guides and thoughts on worth, success, and happiness. The other is all the worksheets, quizzes, and a few organizing materials for you to use to let out all the expectations and make room for who you truly want to be.
The guide is filled with step by step instructions and motivational words to guide you thought the process of letting go. Written in the format of a traditional book, you get 47 pages of conversational writing that will motivate you and guide you while leaving open doors to choosing the version of minimalism that works best for you.
This is a printable booklet filled with worksheets for you to use along with The Guide. They are meant to help in the thought processes presented throughout the book and to keep you on track during the purges.
These worksheets include 5 lists, 3 quizzes, 2 checklists, and 1 labelling sheet. All of which you will have clear prompts for when to use throughout the workbook with clear labels on each page.
